Digital Signature

MCDR's Objective

MCDR obtained the electronic signature licence from Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) according to the Egyptian Law n°15 of 2004 and its executive regulations n°109 of 2005. MCDR had the following objectives behind applying for this licence:

  • Boosting up MCDR's prominent role, by encouraging a new field of industry and attracting      new national and international investments and capitals.
  •  Becoming a part of the national and international scheme for triggering the Electronic Signature and
  • approving the digital Certification Authenticity.
  •  Encouraging the e-commerce and the related e-business projects in Egypt.
  • Helping the Egyptian citizen to deal with the e-business sector.
  • Securing the investors' deals in the Egyptian capital market.

Certificate Authority

MCDR, as an ITIDA licensed entity, issues this certificate as a means of authenticating the identity of the signer, and ensuring his right to sign.

This can be used in various fields, according to the purpose of issuance and the addressed entity:
  • Bank dealings.
  • Government bodies.
  • Capital market dealings.
