AMinisterial Decree of the Minister of Foreign Trade # 906 of 2001
For issuing the Executive Regulations of the Securities Central Depository and Registry Law issued by law # 93 of 2000.
 
The Minister of Foreign Trade
Upon reviewing the Joint Stock Company Law, the Law of Partnerships Limited by Shares and Limited Liability Companies issued by law 159 of 1981 and its Executive Regulations,
The Capital Market Law issued by law 95 of 1992 and its Rxecutive Regulations,
The Trade Law # 17 of 1999,
Law # 93 of 2000 of issuing the Securities Central Depository Law,
Presidential decree # 51 of 1997 for regulating the management of Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchanges  and their financial affairs,
And upon considering the recommendations of the Capital Market Authority and upon the presentation made by the CMA Chairman

It has been decreed that

Article One
The Executive Regulations of the Securities Central Depository and Registry Law issued by law #93 of 2000 shall be applicable, it shall also be applicable for any stipulation not included into the provisions of the Executive Regulations of the Joint Stock Company law, Companies Limited by Shares and Limited Liability Companies issued by law 159 of 1981 and the executive regulations of the Capital Market Law issued by law 95 of 1992.

Article two
In application to the provisions of the attached regulations,  the Securities Central Depository and Registry Law means law # 93 of 2000, the competent minister means the Minister of Foreign Trade, the CMA means the Capital Market Authority, CASE means Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchanges, the Company means the Central Depository and Registry Company, the Participant means the central depository participant and the issuing entity means any entity or company issuing securities.

Article Three
This decree shall be published at the official gazzettee and shall be effective as of the following date if its issue.
